Dr Emmanuel Aboagye-Nimo is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Architecture Design and the Built Environment.
His research focuses upon health, safety and wellbeing of construction workers, particularly small and micro firms. Much of his work involves working directly with the 'hard to reach' groups in order to identify their good practices and how they can maintain a positive safety culture. He also works areas relating to respect for people including women and ethnic minorities in the construction industry.
His main teaching areas relate to simulating real-life projects and students' research in the field construction management.
