Role

Chris has been involved with the Nottingham School of Art & Design Masters courses for over ten years, providing theoretical lectures and practical workshops based upon his own doctoral research into design semantics. He has delivered conference papers upon this research both in the UK and internationally. A keen photographer, he has had stock photography published in national newspapers and creative work published by interior design and greeting card companies. His current research interests are in the area of digital glitch photography, with an essay on this research due to appear in a forthcoming book. An experienced educator with a background in art and design history, he has also had written work published in the Phaidon Archive of Graphic Design and by the online journal The Conversation.
