Career overview
Huw has had an interesting 28 year freelance career, starting in the Theatre, then on into The Music Business and British Pop firstly here, then on the world stage; side stepping into Corporate TV and Government Campaigns, forward into Channel Four Film, then into Feature Film and World Staged Events.
Most recently, Huw has designed exhibition stands for both ‘Prime Cuts’ & ‘Graduate Fashion Week’ – winning best stand at Prime Cuts, for the second year running. Huw is currently working on an exciting new Nottingham Arts & Music Festival, being planned for 2014.
Research areas
Huw is currently forming a project called New Notions of Beauty; a sideways glance at Image and The Cult of Bear as it transforms and influences our visual world.
External activity
Huw is the Production Designer for a Nottingham based event company and head up a Design Team for Interior Design Projects, both Commercial and Domestic, here in the Midlands.
