As well as being a Senior Lecturer on Fashion Marketing and Branding teaching a range of undergraduate modules Suzanne is also a lead Personal Tutor for Year 1 students.
Prior to working in HE Suzanne had extensive experience of teaching in FE.
She also worked as a Coach and Mentor and Creative Agent for Creative Partnerships, facilitating creative practice to support the success of teachers and students in a variety of arts collaborations.
As well as a Qualification as a Personal Performance Coach from The Coaching Academy Suzanne also has a IAPT qualification in Psychological Wellbeing.
Suzanne is research active and is particularly interested in the relationship between fashion and identity. She has published a chapter. examining the role of social media in fashion marketing on the body image of young women and is keen to further explore the influence of body positivity in marketing. She has also co – authored a chapter on the growing commercialisation and issues this poses for authenticity with regard to vintage fashion.
