David is a Learning Technologist in the School of Arts and Humanities Learning and Teaching Support Unit, and Nottingham Institute of Education. David advises and supports staff, and promotes good practice in the use and application of technology in learning and teaching.

Career overview

David's career spans graphic design in both print and screen-based media, web design, and e-learning development in the higher education sector. He has previously worked for the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (BECTA), and whilst at NTU has had periods in several departments, including Library and Learning Resources, Information Services and the School of Education. He obtained a MA Open and Distance Education from the Open University, and was awarded a PGCHE at Nottingham Trent University and subsequent fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
