Principal Lecturer in Human Resources Management

Anne joined Nottingham Business School in 1999. Her current job responsibilities include leadership of the MSc HRM and Postgraduate Diploma in HRM, both approved by the CIPD.

She teaches on various programmes in the Business School; her main teaching interests are in the area of people resourcing strategy and practice – succession and talent planning; assessment and selection; career development; performance management.

Information for prospective research students

Anne conducts consultancy in the SME sector and pharmaceutical industries. She began her career with Boots, where she worked for 17 years in clinical research, and where she was involved in some of the company's international clinical development projects to develop new treatments for arthritis and cardiovascular disease.

Anne moved into a personnel role responsible for the expatriate workforce, and held various generalist and specialist human resource management positions in Boots. Her expertise is in assessment, and she holds BPS certificates of competence in occupational testing.
