Career overview

Ayodeji is a fully qualified finance and Economics expert with experience of leading financial strategies to facilitate company’s ambitious growth plans. He has a proven ability to constantly challenge and improve existing processes and systems. He possess excellent communication skills and has the ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues on detailed financial issues. He has a good understanding of the macro environment and the financial institutions of Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Over the years, he has contributed to the body of knowledge in the fields of Accounting, Economics and Finance through qualitative teaching and extensive research.

He has twelve years working experience in financial Industry prior to working at NTU and he has been teaching in NTU since 2012.

Research areas

Ayodeji's research interest incorporates housing and mortgage finance issues in the context of emerging economies, regional economics, financial economics, financial regulation, accounting practice and principles. This have led him to bring out unique research ideas and realistically apply empirical tools to investigate such phenomenon. Currently, his research deeply rooted in the understanding of housing and mortgage market issues through the empirical investigation of the dynamics from the demand for mortgage finance and supply of funds perspectives.

External activity

Currently, Ayodeji is the module lead for Financial reporting, financial accounting, management accounting and quantitative methods at NTIC.
