Role

Dhru teaches on a range of modules from first to final year undergraduate programmes, including research projects. Post graduate activities include an MSc postgraduate consultancy project which involves students liaising with small local businesses. From 2016, Dhru has co-supervised a PhD student, monitoring progress and offering mentoring opportunities. Since joining NTU in 2012/13 Dhru gained the PGCHE and HEA (Fellow) qualifications.

Dhru brings practical examples into my teaching using my previous experience as auditor, accountant, director, fraud investigator, risk and project manager.

Research areas

Dhru areas of interest are corporate governance, audit and assurance, and internal audit.

External activity

Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA). In 2016/17 Dhru was appointed as an external verifier at Loughborough College.
