Giuseppe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics.
As a Senior Lecturer, Giuseppe leads undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Financial Economics, including the Financial Environment (level 5), Financial Markets and Institutions (Level 5), International Banking and Economics (level 6) and Derivative Markets (level 7). He is regularly involved with the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation students.
His research focuses on the applications of General Equilibrium Theory to topics in Financial Economics.
Career overview
Giuseppe began his career as an hourly paid lecturer at Glasgow University before moving to a full time position at Coventry University. At Coventry, he was for 2 years assistant course director focusing especially on supporting first year students in Economics. He has taught a variety of courses on undergraduate and postgraduate level including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Maths, Stats and Industrial Organisation.
At Glasgow University he was elected by students to participate as Tutor of the year on behalf of the Business School.
At Coventry he won the Students’ Tutor of the Year Undergraduate Stage 1 award for the academic year 2016-17.
