Juliana is a Lecturer in Strategy and Innovation. Her role involves delivering interactive seminar sessions that explores strategy and innovation in business. The sessions enable students to develop their understanding of strategy. This includes knowledge of how businesses set goals and determine actions to achieve the goals as well as how they organise resources to execute the actions that achieve ends (goals) with available resources. The modules also explore innovation which combines old things in new ways and students to explore how "new idea, device or method" can enhance a business to meet existing market needs and maintain a competitive advantage.
Juliana as Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for the strategic and operational management of Hillingdon Race Equality Council, from 2001 to 2008. She went on to use her knowledge and expertise in providing development advice and support to third sector business. Juliana worked for Wolverhampton University prior to Joining Nottingham Trent University in 2017.
