Role
Oiza is a Lecturer in Accounting and her role involves research and teaching. She contributes to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the area of corporate reporting and financial analysis.
Career overview
Prior to joining Nottingham Business School, Oiza held teaching roles at the University of Glasgow, Glasgow International College and was a Researcher on the EU sponsored Project PROFIT on Financial Literacy. Prior to joining academia, She worked in the financial services sector, holding fund accounting positions.
Research areas
Oiza has examined the content of sell-side analysts’ research reports, focusing mainly on the sources of variation of the themes and linguistic features of such reports. Her research interests also covers areas such as: sell-side analyst bias, impression management, corporate reporting, investor relations and financial literacy.
