Reinhard joined Nottingham Business School in 2019 as a Lecturer in Economics.
His main research interests include contemporary aspects of migration and spatial economics, using Geographic Information Systems data.
Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher and Teaching Fellow at Queen Mary University of London. He obtained his PhD in 2017 from Leibniz Universität Hannover, where he researched the interrelation of personality and migration. During his doctoral studies, he was also a member of the DFG-funded Research Training Group ‘Globalization and Development’ and an external consultant to the OECD, investigating post-graduation mobility and labour market integration of internationally mobile students.
