Role

Barry is a Learning Designer within the Centre for Academic Development & Quality (CADQ) where he works in partnership with academic colleagues to design and develop new online and flexible modules.

Career overview

Barry has worked in HE blended and online learning development since 2003. His career started at the University of Surrey, before moving to the University of Loughborough and finally joining NTU in 20026.

During this time Barry's main areas of focus have been:

  • Redesigning courses and modules for flexible delivery
  • Working with the academy to identify needs and opportunities in relation to learning technology
  • Supporting and disseminating examples f innovative practice , and,
  • Supporting in-school practice development and capacity building.
