Neil has a scholastic interest in the relationship in employability and particularly the links between student placement/work experiences and a student’s programme of study. To that end, Neil has worked extensively with internal and external partners to promote and build opportunities to secure a wide range of student placement opportunities both nationally and internationally.
Neil Stott is an experienced educator, having worked across the further and higher education sectors, supporting teaching and learning for students and staff as they study towards undergraduate qualifications, or teacher training qualifications through his former leadership of ITE in FE settings.
Neil worked within the engineering sector for the first ten years of his career, before moving into Education and Training. This aspect of his own experience informs his approach to social justice and advancement through merit.
