Role

Linda is the Principal Lecturer looking after both the BA Photography and MA Photography courses.

My teaching specialisms are on both Professional Practice and Critical Theory.

Career overview

My experience at NTU has primarily been with the BA (Hons) Photography course. I have also worked as the Employability Manager for the School of Art & Design driving the agenda to support employability in the Creative Industries for students across the School.

Research areas

Linda’s research centres around celebrity photographic portraiture. She is also interested in issues related to professional photographic practice within the creative industries, particularly in relation to copyright and aesthetic and commercial value.

External activity

As current Secretary of the Association for Photography in Higher Education (APHE), Linda coordinates membership for this subject association.
