Dr Fayokemi Olorundami is a Senior Lecturer at the Nottingham Law School. Kemi teaches International Oil, Gas and Mining Environmental Law on the LL.M programme, Criminal Law and Tort on the GDL and Tort on the LL.B.

Career overview

Kemi is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. She obtained her Ph.D from the University of Aberdeen in 2017. Her thesis looked at the maritime boundary delimitation dispute between China and Japan in the East China Sea. Kemi's LL.M, also from the University of Aberdeen, was in Oil and Gas Law. She taught at the University of Aberdeen and the University of Greenwich before joining NTU. Before these, she practised law as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria.
