Role

Rachael is the Course Leader of the BPTC. She is also the Module Leader for Resolution of Disputes out of Court and Family Litigation and teaches on the Civil side of the course. She is involved in liaison with the Bar Standards Board and assisting with the general running of the BPTC.

Rachael teaches skills on the LPC and has taught Civil Litigation and Family and Child Protection.

Rachael is one of the co-ordinators for Pathways to Law, which is a scheme aimed at years 12 and 13, run in conjunction with the University of Nottingham and funded by the Sutton Trust. It encourages diversity within the legal profession.

Career overview

Rachael is a Barrister and member of Middle Temple. Rachael is a practising Door Tenant at Chartlands Chambers and a Civil Practitioner, with a particular focus on Family Law. Rachael is an accredited Advocacy trainer. She has achieved the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice and is a member of the Higher Education Authority.
