Andrew is responsible for internationalisation in the schools of Art & Design, Architecture, Design and the Built Environment, Arts and Humanities and Confetti as part of the NTU Global team. His role is to help the Schools meet their goals in international work by developing and managing a network of global partners, enhancing international mobility opportunities for students and staff, creating study pathways for international students to join NTU, enhancing student experience and engagement in line with the Connecting Globally arm of the NTU strategy and creating and running niche recruitment projects.
He sits on School Executive Teams as an associate members and on the University International Committee, working across NTU departments and with partners to develop an extensive international network.
Andrew has 15 years’ of experience in international education marketing, international partnership development (including course development), internal process development, staff development, skills training, workshop development, project management, quality assurance, relationship development, negotiation, cultural awareness and advice. He regularly presents at international education conferences and events around the world.
Before working at NTU, Andrew had other internationally focused roles at both the University of Warwick and Aston University and prior to that working in recruitment and marketing in the private sector. He previously sat on the Executive Committee for the British Universities International Liaison Association, representing all public universities in the UK on global issues and with responsibility for marketing and communications and training.
