Role

As Regional Partnership Coordinator for South Asia, South East Asia and Australia, Vidhi develops, manages and supports international partnerships in her allocated regions. Vidhi works closely with colleagues across the University, partner institutions and a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the development of effective partnerships that foster student and faculty mobility, and teaching and research collaboration in accordance with NTU’s internationalisation strategy.

Career overview

Vidhi joined NTU in January 2017. Prior to this, she worked for the Australian Government Department of Education and Training (DET) as Policy Director of the Australia India Education Council (AIEC) and Senior Adviser (Policy and Programmes) in Canberra. She managed strategic initiatives of the AIEC to enhance the bilateral education relationship, including institutional partnerships.

She has also held the position of Regional Planning and Performance Coordinator for South Asia with the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Control at New Delhi. In addition, she has held programme management roles with the United Nations Population Fund, the United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime and the New Zealand Departments of Foreign Affairs and Immigration.

Vidhi holds a Master of Management Science and Information Systems, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Science and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science (Molecular Biology) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
