James is Postgraduate Marketing Officer at Nottingham Trent University, responsible for raising awareness of NTU’s postgraduate offering at a University-wide level; together with leading on marketing support for the University's research degree opportunities, working directly with the NTU Doctoral School.

James also leads on marketing support for Student Accommodation Services, working closely with both the Accommodation Team and College Marketing Teams to deliver the annual accommodation campaign.

Career overview

James joined NTU in 2010 and has since held marketing roles in Nottingham Business School, with a particular focus on postgraduate and executive education; and the School of Social Sciences, focussing on both undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment, before taking on his current role in the Central Student Recruitment Team in 2016.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Business and Management Studies, specialising particularly in marketing, from Bradford University’s School of Management, and held marketing roles at Vodafone Global Enterprise and the business support agency, Business Link, before joining NTU.
