Mrs. Gulrukh Turabee is currently working as an Academic Associate (part time Lecturer and Part time PhD study) in the Department of Computer Science. She is currently teaching modules ‘Foundations of Computer and Technology’ and ‘Information and Database Engineering’ as a part of her teaching duties.
Gulrukh obtained her BSc Hons degree in Computer Science from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Pakistan. After which, she moved to UK to pursue her Research based Master’s degree (MRes) in Computer Science from Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, UK.
Her current PhD research work is based in the field of Artificial Intelligence for Biomedical Application particularly on ‘Development of novel Deep Learning (DL) techniques for EEG pattern detection with application to investigation of interaction between sleep and epilepsy activities’ as a part of her academic associate post.
