Career overview

Prior to working at NTU, Nigel was Chief Information Security Officer for PowerSchool - a cloud based Education Technology provider based in Sacramento California. In his tenure there, PowerSchool grew from some 350 people to a company of 1500 people, through 7 acquisitions. Prior to that, Nigel was Vice President of Security and Functional Architecture for Oracle’s Cloud Applications. He spent 22 years at Oracle in many roles leading development and product management. In these roles Nigel had a hand in launching everything from new releases of existing products to whole new product categories. Prior to Oracle, Nigel was implementing JDEdwards ERP, manufacturing, distribution and project management software across UK and Germany. Nigel learnt his trade as an management accountant working for Philips in Cambridge.
