Dr. Waleed Bul'ajoul has 13+ years of success leading teaching and research innovation for well-educated organisation. He received BSc in software development, MSc in networking and PhD. degrees in security, specialising in computer networking and cybersecurity, from Coventry University. He is certified to CCNA, CCNA security, IT network, OSs services, GLP, and BPM. He joined as a Lecturer with the Computer Science Department, Omar Al-Mukhtar University, Libya. From 2002 - 2008, he was a Manager Director for ITS company, Libya. He directed operations and activities associated with Universities and Libyan government for IT service and systems security. Actively provided overall IT leadership, including IT strategy, governance, Office Supplies, new technology initiatives, and network communications equipment. Expertly taught training courses, including OSs service, QoS Security, networks, ethical hacking skills, and CCNA Cisco network configuration etc. He competently attained projects of £2.8 million. From 2012 to 2017, he was a Researcher at Coventry University.
Dr. Waleed is currently a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with Nottingham Trent University and a Researcher in Industry 4.0 and Cyberphysical System with the Computing and Technology Department. His research interests include the general area of CyberPhysical system including IoT, IoE, networks communications and cybersecurity performance (modelling and simulation).
Current research for Dr.Waleed Bul'ajoul is to Investigate, design and develop a didactic Industry 4.0 and Cyber Physical System, along with executing computer programming tests and configuration for novel cyber physical system modular (i.e. Festo MPSs) and virtual fully automation architecture (i.e. TIA). Contributing to design and develop a cyber physical lab including learning material (i.e., Security in Practice, Network and Could Security , Cybersecurity, Network architecture and security , etc) for NTU student i.e. Industry 4.0 Modular Production Systems (MPSs), PLC program, analysis & analogy data from cloud, etc. Proposing and supervising IoT, cloud and cybersecurity projects for undergraduate and postgraduate student to established NTU as a Mindsphere hub.
An innovative contribution of his work is the establishment of design a new architecture to improve security and privacy. Most recently, his research focused on network architecture and security. His research was about improving security performance for highspeed environments based on intrusion detection and prevention systems, QoS, and parallel technologies; a novel new security architecture was designed and evaluated. His research acquired four achievements award from different institutions and from external and internal events. Other research project was done during his undergraduate at the university. The project was supported by educations training at Libyan high education institutions. The project achieved the Highest Achievement Award in the University, in 2002. In 2010, he embarked on another project privacy in mobile computing.
Dr. Waleed Bul'ajoul has been developed an internet-draft model through packet-switched network drop and outstanding, along with executing basic and advanced tests for novel security architecture. Schedule and publish an excellent work in the relevant field. He was also contributed in various internal and external projects at different high education instantiations (i.e., network infrastructure and security, autonomous vehicle: security challenges, and embalmed system:quad core environments )
