As the Marketing Executive for the Enabling Innovation project, Andy’s role focuses on:
- Creating content for both print and digital media
- Developing and delivering marketing campaigns for the eight hubs of activity the project offers
- Utilising NTUs network of commercial contacts to raise awareness of the project
- Supporting the Compliance Officer to ensure all marketing material is compliant to ERDF regulations. Recording event and marketing activity
Andy has experience of working in events and marketing in varied sectors for a number of years. With both an administrative and project coordination background, Andy has a broad understanding of event and marketing processes and delivery.
Before his role at Nottingham Trent University, Andy has worked for various organisations in the Arts and Cultural sector. Promoting local talent and coordinating content for both Nottingham, Leicester and Edinburgh Comedy Festival. Andy has previously produced theatre festivals that have aimed to support start-up and developing artists in Nottinghamshire. His work has seen Andy work for established companies as both a promoter, producer and practitioner.
A practised public speaker, Andy has also delivered workshops on skills development for creatives and continues to stay engaged in the creative community.
Andy supports the delivery of the Enabling Innovation project, that helps eligible businesses in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area to access the University expertise to drive innovation and business growth.
