Support local economic engagement and partnership with key stakeholders in Nottingham, D2N2 and the wider Midlands region.
Inform strategic planning and development of new academic provisions, research foci and infrastructure investment.
Develop a Strategic Plan that drives the University for Materials and Engineering, clearly setting out the strategic approach towards a focused agenda that is specific to sectoral demands.
Prior to joining the PLECS Team, Jonny held a number of roles that involved generating new financial income streams, developing external business partnerships and establishing the commercial services offer for the College of Science and Technology here at NTU.
Prior to life at NTU, Jonny worked in a variety of business development and account management roles within the private sector, managing sales and marketing teams to drive commercial income within the publications industry.
Support local and regional communities that inform business thinking and planning through employer groups, including East Midlands Chamber of Commerce.
