Dr Eva Zysk is a lecturer in psychology and acts as Associate Course Leader in Student Transitions. She is Module Leader for Year 1 Combined Honours tutorials, and for the Year 3 Psychopathology module. She teaches at all levels of undergraduate courses, and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate projects.
In 2014 Eva was the recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Award for the School of Social Sciences.
Eva has completed her bachelor's degree (with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Biology) at the University of British Columbia, Canada, where she also worked for two years as a research co-ordinator. She completed her PhD at the University of Reading and worked for the Charlie Waller Institute prior to lecturing at NTU.
Eva's research interests lay in mental health disorders, and particularly in obsessive compulsive disorder and phobias. Her previous research has investigated the aetiology, phenomenology, assessment and treatment of contamination fears in OCD.
Eva's research team is currently collaborating on a current child OCD project with Dr Tim Williams at the University of Reading.
