Adam is the head coach of NTU squash. He is responsible for 4 men’s and 1 woman’s team who compete in BUCS and in the local Nottinghamshire squash league. Adam also along with providing a high-quality training environment, leads on recruitment and selection.  A big emphasis is placed on working with the students to improve playing and training opportunities for all standards in the club whether that be professional or beginner players.

Career overview

Adam joined NTU at the beginning of 2020, prior to his appointment he was the assistant coach at MTAcademy in Sheffield where he coaches all different levels and ages from complete beginners to high level junior players. Adam also continues to be the head county coach for Derbyshire junior squash, running camps and training squads for the counties best junior players. Before embarking on his coaching career Adam was a student at NTU graduating in Marketing.

External activity

As well as coaching at NTU, Adam is currently in the early stages of setting up a sports education charity based in Sheffield in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. The charity aims to raise the children’s aspirations and attainment in school. Whilst coaching he is also pursuing a professional career on the PSA tour. He trains as part of Nick Mathew's academy in Sheffield. He is currently ranked 352 in the world. Adam is the captain of the men’s Derbyshire squash team and is the 5 times men’s county champion.
