Mark is Head Coach of Women’s Hockey at NTU. He oversees 5 squads competing weekly in BUCS as well as 3 squads who compete at weekends in regional leagues. Mark has led on US recruitment projects over the last two seasons, which has resulted in numerous US hockey players coming to NTU to pursue further playing and academic opportunities.

Career overview

Mark was previously Head of Hockey at Trent College (2011-2017) with the school reaching 22 National Finals and winning 2 National Titles in that time. Mark has also had numerous roles within the England Hockey Player Pathway, including coaching at Futures Cup tournaments and being Performance Centre Head Coach at Nottingham (2016-2018). Mark is a UKCC Level 3 Coach and currently completing his MSc in Performance Coaching at The University of Stirling.

External activity

Mark is currently Head Coach of Beeston Men’s 1st XI who compete in the English Premier League. Having previously had a successful playing career with Beeston winning the HA Cup 5 times, Premier league 3 times as well as playing in the European Hockey League on numerous occasions.
