Our new Emergency Security Points (ESPs) can be found at the following locations.

Brackenhurst Campus

• ESP2 Upper Close Car Park
• ESP3 Equestrian
• ESP4 Cricket Pitch Car Park

City Campus

• ESP5 Sandby Medical Centre
• ESP6 Chaucer path to DICe
• ESP7 Bonington
• ESP11 Hampden St Car Park

Clifton Campus

• ESP8 Observatory
• ESP9 Loop road (Rear of Library)
• ESP10 ANT

To find them on your campus, you can use MazeMap. The ESPs have been placed in these areas following feedback from NTU students and staff that identified where they would be most beneficial.

The ESPs can be used by NTU students or staff to call through to our 24/7 Security Team in an emergency. They have an intercom, camera and CCTV that can scan the area.

When the button is pushed it will ring like a phone and a Security Officer will answer. You can then talk through the intercom and explain your issue. Our Security Officers can then make an assessment and provide advice, attend the scene or call the emergency services if needed.

We are proud that our NTU campuses are safe places, and the ESPs have been added to provide an additional method of reassurance and support.
