Don’t just take our word for it – we score highly in national rankings, as voted for by our students. We recently ranked in the top 10 for the National Student Survey and WhatUni Awards 2020.
NTSU has facilities on City, Clifton and Brackenhurst campuses including:
- coffee shops
- bars and diners
- night clubs and live music spaces
- media suite
- bookable activity spaces
- gyms and sports facilities.
As a result of the tightening of the current COVID-19 restrictions, gyms, bars and night clubs are currently closed. Some coffee shops and food outlets will remain open for take away only. We have over 100 societies. These range from astronomy to craft, sign language, and everything in between. They're a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, follow your passion, or try something new.
NTSU's entertainments programme is one of the most diverse in the country. We host a wide range of entertainment at their venues across all campuses, including:
- club nights
- live music
- wellbeing events
- clothing fairs and pop-up shops
- comedy nights.
The latest COVID-19 restrictions are in place. All NTSU events will be taking place virtually until further notice.
We understand that university life can sometimes be challenging. NTSU’s free and independent Information and Advice Service (IAS) is here to support you.
IAS offers advice and information on:
- academic support
- health and wellbeing
Interested in giving back to your community? We have ready-made micro-volunteering activities available. You can take part in from home, or we can help you set up your own volunteering project with funding and support.
We also have lots of volunteer roles that can help you to:
- gain experience
- follow your passion
- boost your CV.
These volunteer roles include:
- student mental health champions
- information and advice volunteers
- freshers team
- academic reps
- committee member roles.
NTSU represents students on all aspects of their student experience and academic interests.
