We are a community of 4,000 students across five departments and one school.
We sit at the intersection of science and the arts; between tradition and innovation. We value theoretical rigour alongside hands-on practical experience for every student. Through collaboration and creativity, we build on a strong design heritage, looking towards the past for ideas in order to innovate for the future.
We're nationally recognised for excellence in making and design. We explore both the physical and the conceptual – from tools and technology, glass and grass, bricks and mortar, through to creative ideas and philosophies that shape creative practice.
