On this course you'll examine the strategic management of real estate as an investment asset, and the operation and performance of investment markets.

Throughout the course real estate is considered in the wider context of other investment assets and the operation and behaviour of investment and financial markets.

You'll examine the characteristic of both commercial and residential real estate investment markets, and have the opportunity to evaluate the development of real estate investment theories.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • analyse the characteristics of the real estate investment markets
  • compare the characteristics of real estate and other investment assets
  • explain and analyse investment behaviour
  • evaluate fund management strategies and the management of portfolios.

A CPD certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course.

Successful completion can also contribute 15 credits towards a postgraduate award.
