Be the transformational leader - be part of the solution!

This course explores contemporary global challenges from both a personal and course perspective, through the lens of the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development, in one of the most sustainable universities in the world.

On this interactive course you will use the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals as lenses through which to explore the themes of Food, Energy, and/or Clothing, and their industries. You will explore and understand the link to your discipline / area of study, and come up with International solutions to addressing problems related to sustainable development and food, energy and/or clothing.

Course sessions will include quizzes, Prezis, debates, and discussions, workshops, role play activities, Zeemaps, and games. There will also be opportunities to work with local community groups.

At the end of this course you should have the employability skills to become a transformational leader of tomorrow, have an insight of how other disciplines are tackling global issues, and understand how multi-disciplinary collaboration can be the key to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all.

This course is a part of NTU Global Summer School, a programme of 2 – 4 week courses and social activities running in July and August 2018.
