More about Anna

“I have always been horse mad, and this course allowed me to have an insight into every part of the industry with amazing opportunities and contacts.

“Equine Sports Science offers a wide range of modules, allowing students to have a taste of all aspects of their potential future careers. The course allows opportunities for students to carry out projects in their chosen interests in all years whether this be practical based or theory. The practical sessions allow skills to be learnt that are necessary for working in the equine industry

“I have found the module on genetics really interesting and I am now considering this side of the industry as a future career. I would highly recommend the Ireland study tour to future students as the opportunities and contacts made is unmissable along with the places you visit which is eye-opening.

“This course relates a lot to the industry you will eventually be working in, which allows you to really get a taste of what’s out there for the future. The fantastic facilities allow you to have hands on experience on both the yard and in the labs, which is an essential part of your learning.”
