More about Danielle
“After visiting Brackenhurst campus on an open day and speaking with the lecturers I knew this was the course I wanted to study. The modules and the beauty of the campus just reaffirmed my decision.
“The practical modules such as practical conservation skills, applied habitat management and integrated project are really useful and fun. The first year of the course has a whole outdoor practical module, which really gives you skills you can use in future jobs.

“As part of the industry module placement in second year I spent two weeks on an optional university trip to Mauritius and worked with Durrell conservation. I also spent the summer volunteering with the RSPCA at a wildlife rehabilitation centre and a week with the Barn Owl Trust. All of these placements have given me varied experiences that are so valuable to me as a conservationist.”
