“Brackenhurst Campus was an amazing place to study and provided me with the necessary space during my course to learn some important field and laboratory techniques. The library is modern, and contains all the resources necessary to succeed.

“There is an excellent online system NOW- NTU Online Workspace, where all your course modules are found, link to an online library service, and a link to the employability team that provides a wide range of career advice such as CVs, cover letters and job adverts.

“I would definitely recommend my course if you want to specialise in this field for your career. It is tailored to meet all the current knowledge and skills. The course includes lots of activities and group work which provided the opportunity for interaction between students and lecturers.

“Nottinghamshire is a nice place to live, with all necessary shops and facilities such as libraries, gardens, parks and restaurants. I lived in Southwell, near the Brackenhurst Campus, so it was quick and safe to walk and there is also a good and regular bus service.

“You can use the same bus service to go to Nottingham city centre and there are also very good travel links around the city centre. There’s a nice diversity of people from various backgrounds in the city.

“My MSc has increased greatly my scientific experimental design and data analysis skills and expanded my theoretical knowledge in a number of areas. I have been able to apply these valuable insights in my day to day job and this has helped to improve my confidence in decision-making.

“This course has also motivated my career orientation towards looking for a more balanced practical and research-based job and it greatly increased my job prospects. Indeed, it aided me in securing my current role at the University of Leicester.”
