More about Holly
“With a range of modules, I have developed an in-depth understanding of equine science and practice. I have also created a scientific writing flair, with a good understanding of correct terminology.
“Alongside this I have developed basic labs skills, that I would like to improve on if given the opportunity. I have also experienced lab book writing.
“Another course attribute would be confidence in presenting projects to a wider audience. Finally with my dissertation, I have full knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, and statistical package SPSS.
“I’m interested in the research and development side of the science profession. I would like to develop my research further by doing a PhD, work within a research team, and then eventually go into managing a team of researchers to drive forwards research within the veterinary sector. My key interests are; infection and immunity, bio-surveillance, veterinary pharmaceuticals, and equine nutrition.”
