The lecturers know what they’re on about as most have had jobs in the agricultural sector before coming to teach.

More about Jessica

I chose this course because I liked the structure and interesting modules. The roundhouse facilities were good and I liked that they had their own herd of cattle and flock of sheep. The Agriculture course involves both livestock and arable theory and practical work. We have a mix of lectures and hands-on experience of the agricultural sector.

I chose Brackenhurst because it's a good location and better than other agriculture colleges nearby. It didn't take long to settle in as people here are very welcoming and the accommodation team and tutors were very helpful and always there to talk to if you had any problems.

I enjoyed the business, management and plant and soil science modules and found the employability team really helpful with CV's and work experience. I would like to be an Agriculture Business Consultant and feel that the business modules are very transferable to university and future careers.
