More about Joe

“During my time at Nottingham Trent University I have developed laboratory techniques, and statistical analysis techniques including using SPSS and Microsoft Excel.

"My scientific writing and research skills, including locating and efficiently reading journals, have improved. Similarly my presentation skills have also improved and my confidence has grown during my time on this course.

"When I graduate I’m looking to work in the area of farm animal science, with particular interests in improving animal welfare through animal housing techniques, nutrition and the detection of abnormal animal behaviour. Most of my interest and knowledge is in poultry, with some awareness of swine, cattle, and sheep. Other interests are in the conservation of British wildlife, as well as pet animal welfare.”
