Being a student at Brackenhurst is amazing! The campus is beautiful and the facilities are really useful.

I chose to study Animal Management because of the location of the campus and the access to a variety of animals. I study a range of modules from animal training to anatomy and physiology that give me an understanding of a lot of species.

The course gives you great hands-on experience with the animals and even greater understanding of their welfare needs. I did work experience at Linby boarding kennels and on the animal unit at Brackenhurst, where I was given good advice and useful tips for job seeking.

The course tutors are very friendly, easy to talk to and supportive with work as well as personal problems.

In future, I intend to go into the field of animal behaviour.
