More about Neil

“ As a mature student, it can be very daunting to make a new start and changing career is always a gamble to some degree. However, the staff, assignments and tasks at NTU all make it easy to adapt.

“I chose to study Environmental Conservation and Countryside Management as I had a desire to be in the conservation of our ‘natural’ world and further extend my knowledge and skills of wildlife surveying by attending an establishment that could offer the quality of course content I required in a geographical area that suited my needs.

“The course tutors are very knowledgeable and skilled. They are very helpful and patient, and willing to put the effort in, especially when it comes to organising extra practical sessions away from campus.

“I cannot imagine a better place to learn than Brackenhurst, especially the skills involved for the types of courses on offer. The campus has a very positive atmosphere and as a mature student I find it friendly and inclusive- I felt settled from day one and have also joined the Conservation Society.”
