“Brackenhurst Campus has great facilities, meaning my course can be studied to its full potential. The labs and animal unit make studying here even better.
“The FdSc Animal Science course looks into how we care for animals, behaviour, anatomy and physiology and nutrition.
“The Animal Management and Welfare module is the one I currently enjoy the most because it’s interesting and there is lots to it- the lessons are interactive and fun.
“If you do this course you will meet lots of people like yourself. It’s fun and hands-on. I have found some parts challenging, but help is always available. The course tutors are really nice and always out to help you. They will answer every question thrown at them.
“Nottingham is a great city. I have lived here for many years and wanted to stay close to home. It is the best choice I have made as Trent is amazing and so are the people here. It is great to be a student here- sometimes I can’t believe I am a university student.
“Fresher’s week really helped to settle me in. Everyone was in the same boat, so making friends was easier.
“Everything you learn on this course becomes transferable and I hope it will always come in useful throughout my life. In terms of career I intend to work with many different animals in the future, including farm animals, dog behaviour and avian work.”
