I would definitely recommend this degree to new students. It’s such a diverse course, with so many different career opportunities. It as a fun course, with many practical components- i.e. not just classroom based.
More about Sophie
“I am a mature student and wanted to change my career from working as an Environmental Consultant in contaminated land for the previous ten years. I have always had a passion for plants and gardening, so decided to follow a more creative career in garden design. After graduating I set up my own garden design business- Sanctuary Garden Design.
“When I applied for the course, I already knew I wanted to set up my own garden design practice. The course has enabled me to gain the skills to set up the business, and also gain confidence in other areas of horticulture where I lacked knowledge.
“My design and horticulture skills have been significantly enhanced as a result of studying on this course.
“I would definitely recommend this degree to new students. It’s such a diverse course, with so many different career opportunities. It as a fun course, with many practical components- i.e. not just classroom based.”
