More about Divya

Divya graduated from the University in 2012. She found out about the University through an online search, having previously attended Kerala University in India. She now works as a structural engineer in a construction consultancy company, Qatar Design Consortium, in Doha, Qatar.

How did your course at NTU help you to pursue your career?
"The course helped me broaden my mind about the construction industry. It really helped me during the interview process and ultimately to get this job, which is surely a great stepping stone to what I want to become in future.

"The year I spent at NTU was one of the best years of my life. It was a different experience altogether.

What did you enjoy most about your course?

"The international study tour to China was something that no other university was offering and one of the reasons I chose this course. I thought it would be an excellent way to learn about another country's culture and construction methods.

"We had industry interaction through guest lectures and frequent site visits throughout the course. The course content itself was excellent, all of the subjects were covered in great detail giving us great information for becoming successful future construction managers."

What was your most memorable moment as a student?
"I can't really pick one moment because there were lot of wonderful moments, the China trip for example. But if I really have to pick one, then it would definitely be my graduation day and receiving the degree certificate in front of everyone."

Can you describe NTU in three words?
"Fun – Lively - Fantastic."
