After completing a 36-week (or more) placement year, you get a professional practice diploma on top of the bachelor of arts degree when you graduate. How did you spend your placement year?
"I spent 12 months working at Four IV (a London based graphic and interior design agency) placement and I loved every minute of it. I had the opportunity to work on a range of projects, at all different stages of the design process. You become fully integrated into the team and have the same responsibilities as everybody else. Doing a placement year is an invaluable experience; it sets you up for your final year and the working world that follows graduation. The employability links at NTU are fantastic – the team are there to help get you a placement so don't panic, you're not on your own!
