What made you choose to study at NTU?
“The course as a whole as it has elements of both architectural and interior design. Also I love Nottingham as a city, it has lots to do without being too overwhelming."
What advice would you give someone thinking of studying your course/a similar course at NTU?
“If you are thinking of studying a sandwich course, make the most of this opportunity. The year out allows you to learn invaluable skills preparing you for your final year."
What was it like living in Nottingham? Could you tell us a bit about how you found the city as a student?
"Nottingham is a great city, it's not too big and it's not too small. There is always something to do or somewhere to go. The nightlife is varied - you have the usual student places to go every week night but there is always a trendy bar to go to if you feel like something different. I loved it that much, I'm still here."
What has been your career path since leaving NTU? How have you come to be in your current role
"I presented my work at the #NTUDegreeShow and at Free Range in London. From there I was contacted by Macaulay Sinclair, who asked me to an interview and offered me a job as a designer."
What's your favourite memory from your time studying at NTU?
“Weirdly, the last few weeks and the run up to our final project hand in. The studio was packed with all your friends, making the most of your last few weeks together."
