What do you enjoy most about your course at NTU?
"I really enjoy the variety of briefs and projects we work on. I also enjoy the relationship with the lecturers and technicians. The staff are incredibly supportive and always there if you have any questions. They have time for everybody. Having a dedicated model-making workshop is great, and access to the machines and technicians gives a real hands-on element to the course.
"As we're working on live projects and briefs it gives you experience and understanding of the practical aspect of an architectural business. We'll come out with a great portfolio of work, which will be vital to helping us get a job once we graduate.
"With the campus being in the centre of the city it's easy if you need to go out and get anything. Having shops within the University, such as the Bonington Art Shop and Colour Bureau are also really useful.
What do you think about the course staff and facilities?
"The course staff are all very helpful and always available. If I have any issues they always have the time to answer our questions, and if they could not help they suggested someone else who could. We have our own studio where we can store our models and where we can work undisturbed. The rooms are a good size and contains a sofa which is always nice for a catch up and a coffee!"
