Have you completed any work placements?
“I did a summer work placement at AECOM working in the research and development department in the rail sector. I worked on the CFM-5 monitoring project. I also developed my technical knowledge on the monitoring techniques and structural components forming masonry arch bridges.

What competitions have you been involved in?
“I won the David Wright Memorial Prize for Outstanding Performance on the Surveying Field Course.”
What was the most interesting aspect of this competition?
“I had to undertake an intense surveying course, over a period of a week. This helped accelerate my knowledge progression in the real world of surveying. I developed my skills in surveying applications, and using surveying instruments such as levels, theodolites, and total stations.”
