More about Jack
“One major strength of the course is that it is taught by people who have real first hand experience in the media industry. We are shown how to use industry standard equipment to achieve high quality work. We also get to meet and work with clients from outside of the University which is valuable experience for the future when working for an employer.
"Trent TV is the award-winning student television station here at Nottingham Trent University. It’s something that I believe every media student should try and get involved with. It is extremely fun and great for making friends as well as hopefully being vital experience for my future career. I’m currently working as Head of Marketing and Recruitment for Trent TV, so it’s my job to get as many students involved as possible. I also try to get Trent TV known, accessible and used to by all the students across the University.
"Opportunities like film production work documenting NTU’s GameCity videogame festival enable us to showcase our talents at public events and looks good on the CV. I plan on becoming a filmmaker when I graduate from this course. I believe that this course will really help me reach my future goals as it has given me lots of experience, good qualifications and great friends."
