More about Liz

"I stepped into a management role at D.H. Lawrence Heritage immediately after completing the programme. There is so much to learn in my role, but I feel so positive about this as it is really enjoyable and the programme at Nottingham Trent University gave me a good grounding in the skills I needed.

"The modules I took were directly relevant to my present role and chosen career path, particularly in collections management and professional development. The programme is practical and useful in establishing a realistic approach to museum / heritage work. In particular, my personal development plan and professional portfolio were incredibly useful for job applications and interviews, and the ‘transferable skills’ that I have developed have been directly relevant and great for my CV.

"There was a great social group during my time on the programme and my student colleagues were friendly and supportive, particularly during group work. The programme has small numbers so you get to know everyone, including staff. The staff were accessible and supportive - I felt that they had time for us."
